I’m thrilled to take part in the 45th Great North Run on Sunday 13 September to raise funds for the Great Start in Life Foundation, part of HHCC. Every donation directly supports children, young people, and their families across the North and Yorkshire.
I was born in Harrogate District Hospital, and my family and I have used many of its services over the years. This fundraising gives us a chance to give something back.
As Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust expands across the North of England and Yorkshire, the Great Start in Life Foundation raises funds to strengthen the Health Visitor and School Nursing 0–19 service. This support helps children, young people, and families across our communities achieve a Great Start in Life.
